Currently, the seafood caught has been sold at a reduced price and without certification. Therefore, it is necessary to insert elements for evaluation and management that incorporate sustainable exploitation of natural resources, aiming for new products and markets, through the certification of supervisory bodies and the construction of legislation regulating the production and processing of bivalve molluscs in the state of Rio.
